Project Backboard

Daniel Peterson is a former college basketball player from Memphis, OH. In 2014 he noticed that several basketball courts around the city had been long neglected and were in bad shape. He Began the court revivals by just filling in cracks and lines, and eventually, with the help of local artists, filled the courts with colorful, abstract designs. The endeavor was called Project Backboard and has since expanded to courts in St. Louis and Los Angeles.
